Are you interested in working with a world leader in autonomous and precision agriculture machinery to redefine the future of the agricultural industry?We are seeking a motivated individual for a unique opportunity in the area of Systems Engineer in the development of highly-automated machines for agricultural applications from concept through deployment.
The candidate who fills this role will lead the development of systems from concept, through requirements, design, implementation, integration, verification/validation, and commissioning, supported by the cross-functional JCA engineering teamThe ideal candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills and be capable of solving complex engineering problems in conjunction with the JCA engineering team.
Responsibilities Document and review project requirements (agricultural mobile machines).
Understand and assess design issues and determine appropriate resolutions.
Troubleshoot system behavior anomalies, determine root cause, and the appropriate technical resolution.
Lead the design and documentation of the system architecture.
Select and review system components - electronics, sensors, actuators, etc.
Participate in the design of wire harnesses.
Oversee implementation and aid troubleshooting.
Support development and execution of test plans for verification and validation.
Writing, reviewing, and carrying out test procedures.
Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited University.
Candidates with differing educational backgrounds but relevant experience may also be considered.

years experience in the development of electronic and software systems, preferably for mobile machine applications.
Experience and knowledge in system engineering principles (requirements development, design processes, verification, and validation).
Industry knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas:
agricultural vehicles and implements, construction vehicles, mining vehicles and machinery, or forestry vehicles.
Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
Skilled in one or more of the following fields:
Closed-loop control systems, Field robotics, Hydraulic systems, Computer vision, Artificial Intelligence, Safety standards for mobile machinery.
Working experience with the development of systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering techniques and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
