Abrazo West Campus (located at 136th Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear) is a 188-bed acute care hospital serving the healthcare needs of the residents of the southwest Valley since September 2003.

As a state designated Level 1 Trauma Center, Abrazo West Campus serves the critically injured patients in the Western Region of Arizona.
Abrazo West Campus continues to enhance service lines which already include comprehensive orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, hand, cardiovascular with open-heart surgery, obstetrics, women's health, wound care with hyperbaric treatment and therapy as well as 24-hour emergency plus trauma care.
Central Sterile Tech Ft EveningsProvides services in the decontamination and sterile processing areas whenever monitoring of sterilizers is needed.
Collaborates with OR staff to provide sterile instruments and equipment needed for operative procedures.
Assists with ongoing inventory of sterile supplies, equipment, schedule completion and communication for the department.
Position performs duties in an independent manner with little or no supervision.
Special Skills:
Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions.
Must perform repetitive duties on a daily basis, be detail minded and organized.
Must be self-motivated and able to coordinate and prioritize workload in order to complete work and meet daily deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changes in workload and flexibility to adjust work scheduled as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
Thorough knowledge of instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
Must be able to take call.
Hours:
11am-7:
oopmMonday thru Friday With a rotating weekend day work and call every six weeks.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education:
High school or equivalent preferred to enable individual to follow oral and written instruction in English.

Experience:
one year of Central Sterile, decontamination or sterile processingPreferred Certification:
