CS CPA Group is searching for a CPA with minimum 7 years of experience in business and personal taxation who is interested in earning significant equity in a closely held CPA firm.
Located in the city of Maricopa, AZ, CS CPA Group has been providing accounting and tax services for 20 years to local businesses and individuals.
We specialize in SMB's with $1 million to $10 million in annual revenue but have a wide variety of clients from domestic and international businesses, self-employed sole proprietors, sophisticated investors, cross border foreign citizens with US filing requirements all the way to the simple 1040 filer that wants the assurance of a CPA prepared return.
Quality and accuracy are our highest priority.
The successful candidate must have:
Strong technical and interpersonal skills Comfortable with frequent face-to-face interactions with clients.
A bias for action.
Ability to think like an owner by:
Suggesting and implementing best practices Identifying and utilizing best-in-class technology Strong desire for continuous improvement Experience should include:
Preparation of 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040 and 990 tax returns Experience with Lacerte Tax software is highly desirable Familiarity with Quickbooks Desktop and Online.
Strong knowledge of GAAP This position will have a competitive base salary, generous bonus policy based upon personal production and will receive significant equity based upon personal contributions and meeting reasonable business growth objectives.
The equity component will be significant and our goal is for this candidate to earn majority (or full) ownership of the firm within 10 years.
While the successful candidate will be free to work their own hours in or outside the office, this will NOT be a 40 hour per week position during tax season.
Because of the requirement for frequent in-person meetings with clients, this is not a 100% work from home position.
