Automotive Evaluation Technician--(German fluency required)

Kett Engineering is currently seeking a Corrosion Evaluation Technician--Konzern Quality for an Automotive Proving Ground in Maricopa, Arizona. The individual selected is responsible for the evaluation of corrosion test vehicles and will provide assistance in other aspects of corrosion testing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Ability or potential to perform all essential job functions of a Level IV Evaluation Technician.
Preparation of 15-cycle inspection for each vehicle, which includes preparation / collection of comparable faults on other already tested vehicles.
Preparation of 15-cycle report for each vehicle via documentation of vehicle faults and integration of photos with part and fault description in German.
Preparation of 15-cycle report for each vehicle in form of pre-formulated causes and corrective measures in respective report in German.
Preparation of final inspection for each vehicle.
Preparation / collection of prior performed documentation (mini docs) into one Overview
Preparation / collection of comparable faults on other already tested vehicles into one Overview.
Preparation / collection of useable photos for the final report, taken from prior performed documentations.
Preparation of final report via documentation of vehicle faults and integration of photos with part and fault description in German.
Preparation of final report in form of pre-formulated causes and corrective measures in respective report in German.
Supports Departmental Team Leaders and Engineers with field results as requested or required.
Performs additional duties as required or requested.

Requirements:
Skills/Experience- Fluent in German and English to include technology/engineering vocabulary. Advanced computer skills including MS Office - Word, Excel, and Paint Pro required. Advance digital photography experience. Excellent organizational skills are a priority. Flexibility to perform numerous tasks as required. Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on established guidelines and procedures. Comprehensive vehicle engine, chassis part, and vehicle body part descriptions. Knowledge of PK5 test procedure, preferred.
Education- Bachelors degree in automotive, or mechanical engineering. Requires at lease 3-5 years of relevant related work experience.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Job requires sitting, standing, and bending for approximately 6-8 hours on a daily basis. Must be willing and able to travel. Must be flexible and available to work overtime and odd hours, including weekends and Holidays. Willingness to function in a team based, continuous improvement atmosphere.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
