Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice - Aero Automatic Sprinkler Company CO

Responsibilities:

The Apprentice will be trained, mentored, and tested to perform the below duties through an Apprenticeship Program:

Learn to read and interpret fire protection drawings

Assist with the layout of material as shown on fire protection drawings

Learn proper use of power driven tools

Learn proper installation techniques using hand tools

Gain an understanding of fire protection systems

Participate in the Apprenticeship study program

Adhere to OSHA standards and Company safety policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have high school diploma or GED

Must have good communication skills

Able to learn OSHA Safety Standards

Able to learn equipment safety and proper lifting techniques

Able to work from verbal or written instructions

Able to travel to worksites

Able to read engineering drawings

Able to work on ladders or elevated surfaces and lift/handle up to 100 pounds

Able to work in changing weather conditions

Able to learn proper care and use of tools

Work boots required

Must be able to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of the job

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
